The Grand race of Alesia, which is held every 3 years between the 3 major schools of the Alesia Grand Academy around the Continent of Allos.

The 3 schools are the Arcanist School, Engineering School, Bestiary School.

Each school will provide just one team for the race, each team are required to stop at a set of pitstops where they are required to perform a task before they are given the direction to the next stop.

At all region around the various pitstop, each schools are allow to provide limited material support to their teams like mana potions and spell scrolls from the Arcanist School, vehicles and repair tools from the Engineering School, special potions and weapons for the Bestiary School.

And also the teams are allow to use any means to delay their opponents but only as long as no one is killed or suffer serious injuries. But enforcement of the rule are hard, as umpires are few and far between.

The school which win the race will be allocated more resources for the next 3 years, while the teams are often richly rewarded with gifts.

I started this painting since last year, I am still trying to do some more towards the Oga Kazuo kind of style, it took me quite a while juggling work and some pretty bad headaches before I complete it

The lighting is perfect, the details are amazing, the concept is great...

If I had to choose one of three schools, it would be a hard choice between the arcane or the beast. There's more diversity in magic, but ohh lord, what I wouldn't give to ride a dragon...
