~Faith, Flame and Bolter~ by Luches ~Faith, Flame and Bolter~ by Luches
A spiritu dominatus,
Domine, libra nos,
From the lighting and the tempest,
Our Emperor, deliver us.
From plague, temptation and war,
Our Emperor, deliver us,
From the scourge of the Kraken,
Our Emperor, deliver us.

From the blasphemy of the Fallen,
Our Emperor, deliver us,
From the begetting of daemons,
Our Emperor, deliver us,
From the curse of the mutant,
Our Emperor, deliver us,
A morte perpetua,
Domine, libra nos.
That thou wouldst bring them only death,
That thou shouldst spare none,
That thou shouldst pardon none
We beseech the, destroy them.

Quite a number of watchers and supporters had been asking for the sisters when I started painting some 40K fanarts.
I did tried some new techniques for this, so it probably look different from my usual work :)

Took me some time though, gonna juggle it between some work and national service duties. Thus I wasn't able to form
a narrative for it, although the general idea was the Sisters cleansing a holy convent of it's Tyranid infestation.

And if you like a print, feel free to drop me a note :)

Ave Imperator.

Well-done. Good attention to detail, a dynamic depiction of motion. How you did the lighting--- the sunlight from behind, the plasma glow, the muzzle flare and the gouts of promethium--- is also much appreciated. Of your protagonists, let's see... Hooray for helme--- waitasec. Where are the helmets of the other two? Sister Musketeer and Sister Gunslinger, going back to the earlier point on dynamic motion, I like how natural their attacks are, striking as they stride into the teeth of the foe. Sister Gunslinger is... unscarred? Skill, Emperor's blessing, or just damned lucky... or artistic license? Through showing the face, however, you do manage to convey a combination of determination, zealotry and a touch of battle-lust. (Not as much sheer crazy as a certain Sister Chainsword image on 1d4chan, though.) Sister Flamer over there, the way you drew that monstrosity of a weapon, the audience could almost feel the weight of it.

Aside from a minor gripe about looking for armour damage, let me reiterate, friggen well-done. More power to you, keep up the good work.

Actually I always wanted to know how the Sisters are able to carry/use bolters since they come from the same place as Commissars and there wasn't any details of them going through the same stuff as the Space Marines.
