Okita Sōji (沖田総司

, (1842 or 1844 - July 19, 1868) was the captain of the first unit of the Shinsengumi, a special police force in Kyoto during the late shogunate period. He was a well-known genius swordsman, being one of the best swordsmen of the Shinsengumi, along with Saito Hajime and Nagakura Shinpachi.

The first historial character I for my 100 swords project.
And this is where i get my online identity "Okita" from.

mb u should add to a that wiki info, that Soji died being 25 years old, from tuberculosis, in a hospital...during war that was quiet ironical and tragic :\

Finally someone who draws Okita as a man and not a girly-man....everyone knows him because of PeaceMaker but the whole yaoi thing just annoyed me in that...(I'm a Japanese history "snob" according to some)
