Xane is swordman working as an Executor for the Order(not executioner) whose primary job is execute any instructions from the Order. Those jobs range from personels protection to assasinations, although he excel in assasinations.
He's primary weapon is the runic sword Calibur, a sword which blade will change according to how its user envision it to be. As the sword had a power blood rune sealed in it's runic orb only people who share the Alptraum bloodline can use it effectively.
And it is due to this power weapon that Xane is sometimes called upon to perform missions that are beyond the normal Executors.
But Xane had serious short-sightedness
Some notes about the Order.
It is related to the ancient Knights Templars thus the red cross symbol. It had great wealth in its dealings in the financal world, primarily dealing with arms manufactoring, and the Executors are more of counter-espionage agents due to the many enemy made by the Order due to their shadowly dealings

If i didn't know any better I could swear you were using models; everything in the drawing is perfectly anatomized; the way the belt pulls against Xane's abdomen rather than resting staticly as some people would tend to draw, in the front of the body to create the illusion of the drawing. Not the case here, I almost feel like I am in the story.
